Description:
Distressing Blazer worn by Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker in the movie Spiderman 3 (2007).
In the movie the heroic arachnid is back in this live-action sequel directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Chabon. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is going through a major identity crisis. Burned out from being Spider-Man, he decides to shelve his superhero alter ego, which leaves the city suffering in the wake of carnage left by the evil Doc Ock (Alfred Molina). In the meantime, Peter still can't act on his feelings for Mary-Jane (Kirsten Dunst).
This jacket was worn on screen by Tobey Maguire as "Peter Parker" and can be seen early in the film as he is attacked by James Franco, playing "Harry Osborn". The jacket has several cut sections that represent the damage caused by Harry's sword. The inside pocket of the jacket has a section of tape attached with "Shot # 38a,39,41" written on it. More specifically, and because of the coincidence of scuffs, threads, holes along the entire jacket as well as marks on the right sleeve the jacket can be match on screen on the scene when Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) fights the New Goblin (James Franco) in a mid-air battle particularly when Peter Parker, after getting thrown through two sets of glass windows by Harry Osborn, he loses the family heirloom ring he’d been planning to give Mary Jane. Pissed off, he’s able to get solid footing on Harry’s board, wrestle him a bit, and knock him off. While Peter goes to retrieve the ring just in time, Harry’s board auto-homes in on him and saves him from splattering on the pavement. Includes wardrobe tag indicating “Tobey Sc 33 Ripped for Blade Cut”
