Krull’s (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) stunt sword from the production of Tim Burton’s 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes.
In 2029 an Air Force pilot, Capt. Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) crash-lands on a mysterious planet where evolved apes are the dominant species, and humans are their slaves.
This sword and others like it were made for the production and Krull used his sword in the climactic battle. It is made of rubber with a metal armature to keep its shape. There are signs of wear from production use, including scuffing and scratching all down the blade from where it would have encountered other swords. The metal armature is sticking through the rubber near the tip. Overall it remains in a good condition.
