This ring was custom-made for the production for use by Brad Pitt, as Jerry Welbach, and by Julia Roberts, as Samantha Barzel. The metal ring is the section of the priceless antique pistol called, The Mexican, that ejects from the end of the barrel when Samantha fires the gun. That ejected section is given from Jerry to Samantha as an engagement ring. This ring is one of two that were modified and used during filming and comes with a letter from the film's property master confirming its use during filming.
