Description:
In episode 518, Lagertha has “visions” of Ragnar in the cage that held him just before his death. Saxon soldiers are seen holding these shields as they stand around the snake pit Ragnar gets dropped into.
These shields were repainted in a dark color over the top of their original blue color as they were repurposed from the French Army in earlier seasons.
