Description:
A United Ranger's C-10 Cutlass from M. Night Shyamalan's 2013 sci-fi / adventure film, After Earth. In a future where Man was forced to abandon Earth a millennium ago due to cataclysmic events, General Cypher (Will Smith) and his estranged son, Kitai (Jaden Smith), crash land on the derelict planet when their ship is damaged during a vicious asteroid shower. With his father seriously injured, it is up to Kitai to risk a variety of perils in order to release a distress signal. Rangers can be seen wielding cutlasses – their deadly multipurpose weapon - early in the film as they transport the captured Ursa aboard General Cypher's ship.
Bound in an acrylic casing, this piece is composed of a resin shaft over a solid core and features an intricate metallic pattern with various silver lines streaming the length of the item. Both ends of the cutlass are sealed with a black finish giving the item a "sheathed" appearance.
This piece shows some light signs of wear, such as mild dents, but remains in great overall condition.
