This is an original hand painted cel from the animated series "The Simpsons" featured in the eighth episode of Season 13 "Sweets and Sour Marge". It can be seen when Homer buys a book on world records published by Duff at a library sale. After
boring everyone with world record trivia, Homer decides to break a record himself. specifically this cel was used when Homer helps solve the question of Lenny and Carl. in Moe´s Bar .
"Sweets and Sour Marge" was written by Carolyn Omine and directed by Mark Kirkland. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on January 20, 2002. This Season was the last created with hand drawn animation cels. Since 2002 Season 14 the studio switched the series over to computer animation.
This cel feature a acetate layer and a color copy background and has hand drawn annotations at down telling
technical information to help the animators. Also it has an individually numbered 20th Century Fox gold stamp in the layer.
