Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) Roger Rabbit Original Animation Cel

Movie: Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Category: Film Production
Celebrity: Christopher Lloyd
SCREENMATCHED
ONE OF THE KIND
Description:
A rare animation cell used in the Bob Hoskins classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the pioneering film which combined animation with live action to create an outstanding movie. the film, Eddie Valiet (Bob Hoskins) helps Roger Rabbit (Charles Fleischer) prove his innocence, but discovers that Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) has a much more sinister plot in the works.
Eddie Valiant knows what happens to Roger Rabbit when he drinks whiskey, so a shot is just the thing to bring him free from Judge Doom´s evil grip! Roger´s cheeks are inflated, and his ears are just starting to propel in this hand painted cel from the movie. Presented on a photographic print background for reference. Handpainted, we can match on screen the outlines of Roger´s Whiskers as we can see in the photographic comparison (see photo). Incredibly the top cell has a white “Walt Disney Company ” stamp top dictating its provenance.
A separate cel painting was made for each fraction of movement of an animated character in this film. Effects like sparkles and shadows were also created, each on a separate cel. Each character cel, along with the appropriate effects , was photographed over a frame of the live-action film.  The result was a stunningly lifelike image.  When all the single images were combined and projected on the screen in rapid succession, the manic world of Roger Rabbit and the other Toons became seamlessly integrated with the "real" world - or, at least, with the world of Hollywood in the 1940s, as recreated by movie magic.  "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" won four Academy Awards for its technical wizardry and reigned as the undisputed box office champion for 1988.  It is considered a milestone in the history of animation. Framed by Circle Fine Art Corporation.

Rugrats is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, and Paul Germain for Nickelodeon. The series aired from August 11, 1991 to June 8, 2004. The show originally revolved around a group of toddlers, Thomas "Tommy" Pickles, Charles "Chuckie" Finster, and the twins Phillip "Phil" and Lillian "Lil" DeVille. The toddlers are able to communicate with each other through baby speak, although viewers can understand them, because it is 'translated'. Often, they mispronounce words or use poor grammar and their speaking is full of malapropisms. An example of this is using the word "poopetrator" instead of "perpetrator." The group is often reluctantly joined by Tommy's cousin, Angelica Pickles. At age three years old, Angelica is able to communicate and understand language from both the toddlers and the adults, which she often uses as an advantage when she wants to manipulate either party. She is usually very mean to the babies. Susie Carmichael, who lives across the street from the Pickles, is also able to communicate on the same level as Angelica, though she isn't manipulative. As a result, Angelica and Susie often clash.Unframed, Unmatted 12 Field Cel (10.5" x 12")
